Shipoopi
Shipoopi is the name of a song from The Music Man. It's sung by Marcellus Washburn, a friend of Harold Hill. The song is about finding love and occurs at about the same time that Marian begins to fall for Professor Hill's wooing, but some versions of the musical have been performed without them, as it doesn't specifically refer to the characters in the song.
A really excellent version of the song can be foundhere.
Besides that, the word Shipoopi is quite nice.

I'm curious. Is the word shipoopi a word which was only used in the midwest, or did Meredith Wilson make it up for the song?
Did returning US military personnel returning from abroad bring it back (like boondock from the Philipines (Tagalog?) for hill?
I personally think that Meredith made it up for the song, but according to the "Urban Dictionary" (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=shipoopi) -
"Shipoopi" is also a portmanteau of the words "shit" and "poopie"; which is perhaps why children enjoy performing the "Shipoopi" song in Willson's musical.
It sounds like the author is making this up (I had never ever heard of this word until this song), but it does have that kind of "Tee-hee-lets-make-a-clever-word-and-see-how-far-we-can-get-away-with-it-in-a-G-rated-setting" feel to it.
